Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide resources, education, and support to children and families in Mills County to end child abuse and neglect. The Mills County Child Welfare Board will work closely with federal, state, tribal, and local agencies to ensure children are protected and safe.

What We Do
Our focus is to ensure that every child in our county feels important, and they do not go without. Many children who enter community-based care do not have many belongings to their name, and families may not have the necessities at first when taking in a child.
This is when the Mills County Child Welfare Board can arrange assistance. With community support, the board can provide children with formula, blessing bags, clothing, shoes, backpacks, car seats, and other necessities.
Our Board reminds children that they are important and that they matter.
